MemoriesOnWeb is a powerful yet simple to use slideshow freeware (yes, put your wallet away). It's designed for folks who want to create photo/video slideshows easily and upload to free video hosts* (eg. YouTube) to share it with friends and family... MemoriesOnWeb offers a host of advanced controls that allow you to blend your photos & video with almost unlimited creativity. You can apply pan/zoom motion effects to individual slides, or mix multiple audio tracks and synchronize them to your slides.

MemoriesOnWeb photo slide show software for Windows offers a super easy way to post a video slide show of photos on the Web. Just select the photos you want to use from the built-in browser, adjust a few settings, and click Publish.

You can customize the image sizes, picture and effect delay, and choose from more than 50 transition effects or have the effects applied randomly. MemoriesOnWeb has added a lot of options since I first used it back in 2004. Now you can edit your slide show in a timeline and adjust a number of settings for each slide. You can edit the brightness and contrast of individual photos, rotate and scale, and tweak the "Ken Burns style" pan and zoom effects for each slide individually. You can also add text to each picture or insert text slides.

When you click Publish, you can choose to generate a new video and save it to your computer, generate a new video and upload to YouTube, or upload an existing video to YouTube. You'll need an account with YouTube for the automatic uploading, but if you don't have one, you can simply save the video to your computer and upload it to the video hosting service of your choice, or use FTP to upload it to a personal Web space. (Currently MemoriesOnWeb only works with YouTube, although they are asking for feedback on other video hosting providers to support.)
